It’s important for adding Leave to be a quick, easy process that isn’t intrusive, where you can see the info you need at the point that you need it.
We’ve made some big changes to the process of adding leave, making it quicker and more informative than ever before. The Add Leave window now opens right there in the Leave page, allowing you to add leave or respond to a request without moving away to another page.
Holiday & TOIL allowances are now shown for the relevant employee so you don’t need to go anywhere to check if someone has enough leave left for the current year.
In addition to this, it’s now quicker to add the most common types of leave, and easier than ever to add leave to multiple employees, and you can now search for specific employees by typing.
The new calendar makes it easier to add Leave into the past and future with fewer clicks, and we’re pleased to say that all of these improvements are available for employees and managers, in addition to administrators.

When you need to know when you or a colleague is in this week, it's important to see only the relevant information at a glance, without being distracted by holidays or unclaimed shifts if it’s not necessary.
In the RotaCloud app, you can now use the filter menu on the Shifts page to show only assigned shifts, whether you're viewing your own schedule or browsing a colleague's. Simply tap the 'Sort & filter' icon in the upper right corner of the Shifts page and enable 'View shifts only' to remove all other information.
The 'View shifts only' filter is now available in the latest version of the RotaCloud app. To access this feature, please update to the latest version by visiting the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You can learn more about the Shifts page by checking out our Help Article.

Over the past year, we have introduced numerous updates to our mobile app, making it easier than ever to manage your business on the go. And now, we've taken it a step further by enabling you to get help with RotaCloud anywhere.
Open the menu of the RotaCloud app, and tap ‘Chat with us’ to send us a message, or access any previous conversations you’ve had with us — even if you started them on a desktop!
Our Live Chat is now available in the latest version of the RotaCloud app. You can update to the latest version by heading to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
When employees forget to clock out, it can be a pain to put right if you’ve come to the end of your Pay Period without realising that your staff’s timesheets have missing information.
To help with this, RotaCloud can now keep you informed as soon as employees have forgotten to clock out, allowing you to get any issues sorted fast, and without having to spend time at the end of the month chasing up your staff for info about what happened.
Missed Clock Out notifications are now available in RotaCloud. You can enable them in your Settings page. For more information on notifications, please take a look at our Help Article.
